Fabric Care:
Linen
Linen is one of the oldest and most sustainable textiles in the world. Grown from flax, it requires little water or chemicals to thrive, making it gentle on the earth. Naturally breathable, durable, and antibacterial, linen keeps you cool in summer and layers beautifully in cooler seasons. It softens with every wash, becoming lovelier over time.
Wash in cold water.
Line dry or lay flat to preserve the fabric.
Iron or steam if desired—linen responds well to heat.
Boiled Wool
Boiled wool is warm, resilient, and naturally insulating—keeping heat in while remaining breathable. It resists water, repels dirt, and absorbs moisture without feeling damp. Antibacterial by nature, boiled wool rarely needs washing and holds its shape for years.
Air out between wears; frequent washing isn’t needed.
Spot clean with cool water and mild soap as needed.
At the end of the season, refresh by swishing in a bathtub of cold water with a pH-neutral detergent.
Avoid wringing; instead, gently roll in a towel and squeeze to remove excess water.
Lay flat to dry, away from heat or direct sun.
