Trillium Vest

The Trillium Vest

IThe Trillium Vest is named after those precious early spring flowers we treasure here in the Appalachian woodlands, this vest is a sister to my popular Villager design, but with a few special differences.

What makes it special

Like all my pieces, I've handmade this in my little mountain workshop using high-quality OEKO-TEX certified boiled wool/linen blend. The Trillium hits right at the waistline (shorter than The Villager) and features just one wooden button closure instead of three. I've also designed this one without pockets for a cleaner, more streamlined look.

The inspiration

Trilliums appear in our forests each spring - simple, beautiful, and resilient. That's exactly what I wanted this vest to be. Something that feels connected to nature but also works beautifully in your everyday life.

Made with care

I cut, sew, and finish each Trillium Vest by hand right here in my Appalachian studio. There's something special about knowing exactly where your clothing comes from and who made it, don't you think? I believe in creating pieces that are made to last and bring joy for years to come.

How to wear it

This cropped style looks lovely with high-waisted pants or skirts. I've been wearing mine layered over simple dresses too! The single button gives it a more open, flowing feel than The Villager.

How to care for your vest

Spot cleaning works best when possible. If you need to wash it, just hand wash gently in cold water with a mild wool soap and lay flat to dry. These vests actually get better with age - the wool/linen softens beautifully while keeping its shape.

From my hands to yours - made with love in the mountains
